60th anniversary of Lions Quatuor

On 10 June the celebrations of the 60^th anniversary of Quatuor, organised by our member and current Quatuor President, Annette Feldmann, took place.

Robert Goebbels, former politician in Luxembourg, and a former Member of the European Parliament, was the keynote speaker. He had invited back in 1985 for the signature of the first Schengen-Agreement. In the following years he was Luxembourg’s negotiator for the Schengen Convention of 1990.

Following a guided visit in Schengen, a boat trip concluded a festive and vibrant day with participants from all 4 participating countries and their Lions clubs.
