We serve earthquake victims in Syria

Following the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, LC Luxembourg Erasmus initiated a project “We serve earthquake victims in Syria”. The project consists of financing accommodation for a number of families,  and try to have repairs done to damaged houses, if possible, so that many of the people living in tents will have somewhere to move to.  Until now, a donation of 5500 euro from the club’s funds and private donations from club members were made available. One club member went to Aleppo to identify the needs and establish the list of beneficiaries. As a first result, 95 persons can leave temporary shelter and have housing secured for one year.
